They stretch their bows out having their arrows ready to shoot always looking for just one person to target. You see it makes up for their losses, and if you look past their pride, arrogance, titles and yes even the braided (slang for rats nest) hair. You'll see their true colors coming thru...

Remedy: Pray for them and give thanks to God. Why you might ask? Well aside from the fact that scripture states that we should pray for such people. If you look even further into the situation you'll probably find that someone has put them up to it.

Just imagine sitting at God's table in heaven. There sits Jesus at the head and all the guests have invitations to the celebration. The sounds and sites are magnificent. The room is filled with joy. There is no sickness, wars, hunger, thirst or hatred. Love, peace, joy and freedom fill the room.

Shake The Dust Off

Is life leaving you feeling a little dusty? Shake the dust off and move forward. The dust will only eventually weigh you down and affect your overall outlook on things. After a while the dust will overtake you and lead to depression and feelings of hopelessness.

Summer's Heat Waves

Can you feel it coming? Summer! It's really a great season, however I believe that this summer is going to be extremely hot, especially in the Midwest and on the East Coast.

Consider others this summer. The elderly, those that live on fixed incomes and those that are affected by the heat. While some easily endure the summer heat, others do not.

Make a difference in your community and reach out and help others.

Giving Your Best

When God gave Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of the world, He gave his very best, His only begotten Son.

We should give our very best, our time, our love, our compassion, our understanding, our service, our encouragement and simply reach out to others in times of need.

We all know that times are difficult. The stock market, unemployment, all these bailouts of major financial institutions and things seem to be worsening.

At the church I attend we have seen a increase of families in need. Not only within the congregation, but also within the surrounding communities. Literally hundreds come weekly for food from the food shelter.

Is there a local church in your area that could use some help from the community to feed those struggling and in need?

Please donate some can goods, bottles water and other everyday needs to your local church, food shelter or homeless outreach.

It was a long hard campaign, however the American people have spoken and elected the next President Of The United States. Only time will tell what direction this new president will lead the county into. Yet for now as the elections come to an end, we still have the reality that our world is becoming more and more complex and in need of the very love of God flowing.

Wow! the world and especially the United States is encountering some major financial woes. From failing banks, mortgage problems, un employment, oil prices, the stock market and now this huge mega bailout to stop a potential depression. I admire those seeking to find a solution to a totally out of hand situation.
